We had an amazing brunch experience at Refinery Rooftop. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and they made her feel extremely special, including bringing a yummy piece of cake. I will definitely be back next time I visit New York!
Celebrated my friend’s birthday here on a Friday night, we felt very well taken care of. Kenny and Sayette went above and beyond for us and made our night! After our reservation was over outdoors, they accommodated us and got us a table inside so we could continue celebrating. On another note, I ordered a steak medium rare and it was cooked rather medium well, and they promptly remade the steak for me. Everything was great. Would definitely return!
Came in for brunch on a Saturday morning. Ambience is unmatched: gorgeous, bright and airy. It was rainy outside and watching the rain fall on the glass ceiling was so peaceful. Food and drinks were good, nothing overly special IMO, but well worth stopping by just for the vibes.
The food and drinks were great but our server Leo was even better! He was so friendly and went above and beyond for us even when it was a busy lunch time. Would highly recommend!
Amazing Birthday Celebration at Refinery Restaurant! I recently celebrated my birthday at Refinery Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was perfect for a special occasion—warm, inviting, and lively. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavors in every dish. Whether it was the appetizers, entrees, or desserts, everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented. The live music added such a wonderful touch to the evening, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere without being too loud. It really elevated the celebration and made the night even more special. The service was top-notch—the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. They even made my birthday feel extra special with their kindness and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoy a fantastic night out, Refinery Restaurant is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back.
Feb 21 2025: We had the most amazing dinner at refinery rooftop, beautiful view in the outdoor eating area (even in winter with the heated room) with views of the empire state building, the staff was so kind and attentive, the food was phenomenal, amazing atmosphere so cozy, good music. Our favourite was the mac & cheese so creamy and delicious. We also loved the chips and guac, chicken wrap with chips, chicken panini with fries, gelato, and cheesecake. For a drink we shared a flower district. Overall phenomenal experience. Our meal total was about 140 for all those dishes and drink mentioned, well worth it. Feb 22 2025: We decided to come back a second night in a row for our anniversary. The staff was so amazing once again. The atmosphere here is so awesome with good music, lighting, amazing views of the city. We enjoyed a lemonade and coke, had our favourite mac and cheese again, and that delicious chips and guac. For our main meal we had the buffalo wings, and a caesar salad. The staff was so kind to surprise us with a dessert each for our anniversary. We shared a cheesecake and a strawberry flavoured cake. Both so amazing especially the strawberry cake. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you want amazing food, views, staff, music, and atmosphere. Our bill this night came out to about 100 but keep in mind we had the two complimentary desserts that would’ve brought our bill up to the same as the previous night. Both nights worth every penny.

I visited the Refinery Rooftop after work with some colleagues. The space is beautiful and cozy. In the winter, the outdoor patio is covered and warm, providing beautiful views of the City. The food and cocktails were delicious and well seasoned. My party ordered all starters including the Buffalo Chicken Wings, Spinach Dip, Crispy Calamari, and Shrimp Tacos. For my cocktail, I had the Up in Smoke. The service was quick and attentive. I would definitely return again.
